SLEEP  A User's Guide (Galactic Edition)

This year's show

Is it a show or is it a seminar or is it a talk? Whatever it is, it is a lighthearted view of recent developments in sleep research and sleep medicine. (There is a revision section early on for those who have not been at previous shows or have forgotten what sleep can be like, or have forgotten the show (suppression/repression?).) This year the focus is on the difference between sleep and wakefulness - or is there one?

Edinburgh Sleep Centre - Chris Idzikowski © 2010

For the fifth year the centre's director is running a light-hearted, educational charity show, which provides an update of the multi-dimensional facets of sleep. Q&A included in the show.

We all sleep, we all dream, have you wondered why and whether you're getting it right or could you do better? Has INCEPTION got it right? Can you share your dreams, or implant thoughts? How long do your dreams last? Are you dreaming or is this it? Come to Edinburgh Sleep Centre's Chris Idzikowski's annual exploration of sleep; this year's right up to the final frontier and beyond: Sleep paralysis, alien abduction, lucid dreaming, drugs, sleepwalking, munchies, bonding, some bondage, dance and much, much more. WARNING: Taking this show too seriously whilst driving and operating machinery may endanger your health.
